Better to leave it alone
Stay strong and remember
that relationships are like broken glass,
sometimes it’s better to leave it alone,
rather than try to put the pieces back together,
and get hurt all over again.
Remember the times you cried,
and how long it took you to even be able
to look at another guy like that.
When your song comes on the radio,
turn the station off.
When the day comes that he realizes what
a mistake he made and tries calling,
turn your phone off.
When he tries coming to your house,
don’t answer the door.
One day, you’ll find a guy who’s worth all the tears,
but he won’t make you cry.
You may think that you’ll never care about someone like you did,
that guy that you always ran back to,
but you will.
It’s gonna hurt like hell,
and it’s going to need time to heal,
but the point is,
It will heal.

Don't be a passenger in your own life
Its sad how some women think they can
trade their
own freedom for love and loyalty.
They think by handing over control of their life over to a man,
they will be loved,
taken care of and appreciated in return.
Not knowing that human beings are
selfish and opportunistic creatures by nature,
quick to take advantage of anyone who lets them.
Ladies, don't be a passenger in your own life,
take the wheel, take charge and control.
Don’t be caged like an animal and be told what to do,
where to go,
what to wear,
what to think,
what to believe in,
who to be friends with and all that other crap.
Not all prisons have bars.
Be in a relationship that does
not take away any of your freedoms
you had when you were single.
Be in a relationship that allows you to be you.
Don’t be in a relationship that tries to limit you,
imprison you or change you.
No love in the world is worth sacrificing your freedom and identity for.

Because of you
Ever have that one person in your life that you just can't give up on,
the one person who can screw you over time
after time yet you always seem to give

Love hurts and the price you pay is high
Did you ever love someone and know they didn't care?
Did you ever feel like crying knowing it would get you no where?
Did you ever look into someone's eyes and say a lil prayer?
Did you ever look into someone heart wishing you were there?
Did you ever watch someone walk away, not wanting them to go?
Did you whisper,
"God I love you" but never letting them know?
You cry at night in misery and almost go insane.
Nothing in this world causes so much pain.
If I could choose between love and death,

You leave me alone
My fiancee gave a challenge to me to live a day without him.
No communications at all and said if I passed it,
he'll love me forever.
I'm agreed. I'm did not text or call him the whole day.
Without knowing that my fiancee has only 24 hours to
live because he's suffering from cancer.
I'm excitedly went to my fiancee's house the next day.
Tears fall as I saw him lying on the coffin with a not on the side:
"You did it baby, can you do it everyday? I love you"

A BROKEN HEART
is when you actually refuse to get out of bed in the morning because you are afraid of the reality that awaits you.
A BROKEN HEART
is when you think about the individual that broke your heart constantly.
You reminisce the "Good Times" almost as if the "Bad Times" never existed.

is when you are crying yourself to sleep every night & yet crying more & more each morning.
A BROKEN HEART
is the unforgettable smell of his shirt that sits in that empty box;
stowed away.
A BROKEN HEART
is the cold shattering feeling you receive when you hear the syllables of his name.
A BROKEN HEART
is glancing at the pictures of the two of you, & then quickly turning your attention to something else to avoid your tears.
A BROKEN HEART
is re-reading his ancient letters & putting away the jewelry that he once bought for you.
A BROKEN HEART
is secretly wanting to run back to him & secretly wanting to just be loved by him again.
A BROKEN HEART
is asking desperately for just one last chance with the only person responsible for your loneliness.
A BROKEN HEART
is pretending to not care what his friends are saying about you.
A BROKEN HEART
is forcing yourself to hang up the phone after you have dialed the first three digits to his number.

is screaming & begging for a second chance inside.

is the emptiness & heart-wrenching feeling you encounter when you see him with his new love.

is knowing that no matter what you do or say to yourself, you can't fool your heart into believing that you will in fact "Be Alright."

is seeing him, & even though it may be the hardest thing that you have ever had to do, you decide to walk away.
